Nisha Halo Handmade Jewellery in Cumbria
What a difference a year makes. In the last few week’s and in the run-up to Christmas there are Christmas markets and craft events galore. I have really enjoyed taking Nisha Halo jewellery on the road in Cumbria and networking with customers and fellow traders.
Holker Hall Winter Markets kicked off the season in style, the organisation of the event is a credit to the team with a fabulous range of craft and food stalls.
Ulverston Dickensian was an experience in itself, the weather was seriously challenging with Storm Arwen, but despite the biting wind the Festival was a great success, and Ulverston was full of lovely, smiling faces and folk in brilliant, period fancy dress.
We had a brilliant couple of days at Dickensian with our jewellery stall with many new seasonal jewellery pieces for the stall that were a hit. Kudos to the Victorians who managed the freezing winters in all their finery. My other half Roy and I had eight thermal base layers on between us - under our respective tailcoat and petticoats- and we were still absolutely frozen. The lovely, chatty visitors to our stall kept our spirits high.
So here’s to the next stall with a range of jewellery gifts - this Saturday in Cumbria:
Christmas Market at The Parish Centre, Church Walk, Ulverston
