Nisha Halo Jewellery - Our Hallmark Guarantee
Nisha Halo Jewellery is hallmarked in accordance with the legal requirements outlined by the British Hallmarking Council below. We have chosen the Goldsmiths’ Company Assay Office in London for hallmarking our jewellery.
The hallmark on Nisha Halo jewellery includes the ‘NH’ Sponsor’s mark and the iconic and historic image of the leopard’s head which is internationally recognised as the stamp of approval and guarantee of quality from the renowned Goldsmiths Company Assay in London - where hallmarking began over 700 years ago.
Legal Requirements
Precious metals are rarely used in their purest form and contain other alloys for pliability, endurance and wearability. You cannot detect an item of jewellery’s precious metal content by touch or sight. Therefore, it is a legal requirement for one of the four UK Assay Offices to hallmark items containing precious metals if they are described as such (exceptions apply for jewellery items below specific weights: for silver this is 7.78g, gold and palladium it’s 1g, and platinum below 0.5g)
